One of the sure-fire ways to kill an event’s buzz after it’s finished is to stop communicating. The wrap-up e-mail is extremely important in communicating the success of the event from the organizer’s point of view to attendees, coaches, sponsors and everyone else who made the event happen.

A good wrap-up e-mail makes everyone involved in the weekend feel like they were part of something truly special. It’s a great time to provide acknowledgement of all of those involved, as well as highlight winning teams, and let everyone know when to expect the next event or how they can continue their involvement with Startup Weekend.
